More than 150 people attended PWCFs 25th Anniversary Bash on Tuesday
September 25, 2007 held at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg. Lieutenant
Governor Catherine Baker Knoll and Speaker of the House of Representatives
Dennis OBrien joined with other legislators and PWCF founders, board
members and supporters in paying tribute to PWCF and its track record of
supporting winning candidates in every legislative election since 1982 when
the organization was founded. Elsie Hillman and Marian Tasco received Lifetime
Achievement Awards from PWCF, whose 25 years of accomplishments were highlighted
by PWCF Advisor and Founder, Morgan Plant.
Money raised through this event will enable PWCF to support progressive women
legislators and candidates as they run for office in 2008.
